You get what you pay for....Part 2

During the conversation I wondered how and why a "professional" photographer would charge so low, especially when they have 12 professional years of experience. Nevertheless, everyone has their reasons.

Nine months later I caught her on MSN. She had terrible news. The beginning of the conversation is below:

Alyson! says:

Anthony Parazo says:

How are you? Nice pic

Alyson! says:

They are horrible

Anthony Parazo says:

Alyson! says:

Yes, i HATE them

Anthony Parazo says:

I'm sorry to hear that.

Anthony Parazo says:

How did you find this guy again?

Alyson! says:

He is my friends boyfriends brother

Alyson! says:

I’ve seen his portfolio...so i thought he would be good

Anthony Parazo says:

I bet you he only showed you his "best" photos. Not a full wedding.

Alyson! says:

wanna see some

Anthony Parazo says:

definitely

Anthony Parazo says:

OH MY GOD!

Alyson! says:

What? that bad huh?

Alyson! says:

im so upset about this

Alyson! says:

im literally crying right now

Alyson! says:

he told me they have not been edited or anything yet

Alyson! says:

im so upset

Anthony Parazo says:

I am checking the metadata on the file to see how he shot it. One sec.

Anthony Parazo says:

1. He didn't use a very good camera

Anthony Parazo says:

2. Photographed it on Automatic (Aperture Priority). So, he didn’t want full control of exposure.

Alyson! says:

are these fixable?? honestly?

Alyson! says:

I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO YOU ANTHONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anthony Parazo says:)

OH, Thanks for the ego boost

Alyson! says:

try and edit 1 for me if you can!!!

Anthony Parazo says:

Let me try one.

S,

Just saw your comment......I wouldn't say fake.....just someone who didn't have full control of making the image....doesn't every photographer want control of the image?
