I purchased a new scanner several months ago to complete an assignment for a 60th birthday party. The unit hasn't been used since as there hasn't been anything to scan. I was curious to see what I could find in my boxes of old negatives. Unbelievably, I found my VERY FIRST photo assignment. It was back in May 1994. Someone hired me to photograph a band at the El Mocambo on Spadina Ave in Toronto.

Wine Bible was the band's name. They were a fusion of grunge rock and 70's storytelling. Several "suits" told me that night that they were on the verge of "getting signed". Here are
